SUBTERRANEAN RECORDS, is a small record shop located at 5 Cornelia Street, NYC, in Greenwich Village. It is probably the smallest record shop I have ever been in, but it is also one of the best. They have a great selection of both new and used records (as most do), of many musical genres, (though I tend to stay in the punk/post-punk section). The only drawback to shopping here, is that the people working there know what they are selling, and how much you want it. Imagine Championship Vinyl only about the size of a walk-in closet. It's also where I got a copy of
"III"
, by Sebadoh, for a friends 17th Birthday, as well as a copy of
"Endtroducing..."
, by DJ Shadow for myself.
