Federico Fellinis portrayal of his home town, Rimini, as he remembered it from the 1930s. Made in 1974, Amarcord is the most popular of all Fellini's works, with very warm and human characters and specific Mediterranean humor.
Amarcord chronicles the young Italian boy Titta, spinning a web of stories around him and his family. Some of them are sad, some uplifting, all of them interesting and beautifully told. It also shows the underlying tension of rising fascism in small town Italy.
