A product line of joysticks and gamepads manufactured in the 80s and early 90s. The controllers were distributed by Happ Controls Inc. in the USA and by Powerplay Ltd. in Europe.
Most of the controllers were of the digital Atari-type, thus compatible with popular computers like Commodore 64, ZX Spectrum, MSX and Amiga. The original Competition Pro model was a true masterpiece, including two fire buttons, an arcade-style short steel shaft and leaf switches which made the joystick practically indestructible and very precise. Other models include Competition Pro 5000 which was basically the same as the original but with microswitches. Competition Pro 3000 was a "flight control joystick" with longer handle, a trigger atop the stick and a "fire-bar" at the base.
