Rising Falcon Company Pictures, headed up by director
Greg Cahill, has
produced such
movies as
Gingerbread Witches,
The Familiar and
Desolate Ground. Cahill, who had been
making movies since
elementary school, realized he was on to something when he
enlisted his friends to star in his production of
Mortal Kombat 2 in eighth grade. For the next five years, he would contiune to gather as many people as he could to create
incredible movies, considering his budget and time constraints, and considering that the
actors and
technical crew all
work for free!
Cahill's latest film, The Judas Goat, was a mostly improvisational look at homeless drug addicts in South Boston, and also RFC's first picture to be filmed on digital video. A DVD release is expected sometime before the year 2100.
