Barbara went to Rider College, finishing her degree in 1969 at the University of Alabama. She got married the summer after graduation, moved to Arizona, and raised two sons. She has continued to write, and doesn't plan to quit. Her Junie B. Jones series is fantastic, and is growing by two books per year - that's slow, for a kids' series, but Barbara prefers to do it well. She has received over 40 awards for her books, including 25 Children's Choice awards.
