It is a single line from a single scene in a movie about pro football. But it is also a perfectly timed sentiment about what love is -and what it is not.
Crowe's skill as writer/director has always been to create characters who say things we can imagine real people saying. More often than not they are the words we cannot think of until later.
This single line has become a catchphrase in some circles for love at first sight. I admire the simplicity.
