There is actually some dispute among
anime fans whether to call these cute critters from
Tenchi Muyo "cabbits" or "
catbunnies". The
devotees of each name thinks the other sounds incredibly silly.
A similar naming crisis formerly existed among some Bubblegum Crisis fans as to whether the biomechanical androids in the anime are "Boomers" or "Bumas".
