Trigger warning: the Butt-Child is alerted to our approach.

After twelve years, it rises! The sequel to webcomic classic Buttlord GT is here at last, being published according to an update schedule which can't exactly be called weekly, or maybe even monthly — but it's happening, anyhow.

What's Kevin been doing all this time? Is Mr. Huge still huge? How many Youtube subscribers does Snowflake have? What is the mystery of the one called Chunks? All these questions and many more will be answered almost immediately when you read Buttlord CS.

Whereas Buttlord GT mainly made fun of the Dragonball cartoon, Buttlord Crush Saga has mostly lampooned various unbearable internet bullshit so far, like Instagram, which is understandable because the supply of Dragonball is at this time weak. Nevertheless, it's likely that you'll get much less out of it if you haven't first read Buttlord GT; but then there's no reason for you not to read that.

The comic is still drawn by Nathan and Andy, although Andy apparently had a kid recently and is thus on some sort of semi-hiatus from it; Andy's art is visibly similar to his style in the first comic, but Nathan's has changed somewhat, into a cleaner-lined, more digital-art style.

There's not really a lot more to say about a thing like this; if you liked the original, this is a must-read, and if you didn't, there's still time for you to repent. Depending on your reading preference, Buttlord Crush Saga can be found on its own site or on Tumblr.

This is not how I expected to spend my weekend!
