| The individual title for the (usually) skilled groups of people who man (and woman) the networks known as resnets nationally. Generally speaking, their jobs consist of basic tech support, and with keeping the residents of their respective universities and colleges connected to said networks.
I am a restech at The Evergreen State College. It's a, frankly, thankless job in which I'm forced to deal with never ending onslaughts of pot smoking hippies with 6 year old Compaqs. I swear, if some kid tells me his older brother gave him his computer before he left home/his dad built his computer for him when he left high school/her boyfriend fixed up an old computer for her........I'll be forced to Kill them all, let god sort em out. |
