Sanskrit for "may it be", similar to the Hebrew "Amen". Used in that sense at the end of the Heart Sutra: Gate, gate, paragate, parasamgate, Bodhi. Svaha!

Svaha is a Swahili and Amerindian (according to Charles de Lint) word for the sound between thunder and lightning.
