Pertaining to, or designating, the number sixty; proceeding by sixties; sixty years old.
Sexagenary arithmetic. See under Sexagesimal. -- Sexagenary, ∨ Sexagesimal, scale Math., a scale of numbers in which the modulus is sixty. It is used in treating the divisions of the circle.
