The second most powerful sign in the Zodiac next to Pisces. There are 3 aspects that represent Scorpio. The Scorpion, the Phoenix, and the Eagle. Scorpio is a transformer, in their own lives and others. They are a water sign and thus are very deep and emotional. They often have a deep connection to the spiritual world in some way. Due to their emotions, which make them deep, they are very sensitive, passionate, and have a need for connection to the world around them.

Here's a tip for you Scorpios out there. If you are going to marry according to sun sign, be careful out there. Do not marry another Scorpio.

I knew a couple who made this fatal mistake, and within 6 months, the bride was taken to the emergency room just screaming her face off. He had not beaten her or abused her physically in any way; it's just that these weird people cannot seem to live together.

The prototypical Scorpio: Neil Young.

Let's hear the stories of you Scorpios who have long-lasting loving relationships with your Scorpio mate. Got any? I doubt it.

Scorpio is the sign of death, reincarnation, sex, and other mystical forces in life. It is during this time when the earth itself is going through its own sort of "death" that Scorpio comes. Scorpios are also known for being very "in tune" with themselves and are known as brilliant. It is during this time that we start to re-evaluate who we are. We have gone through our searching for the true love (and some of us found it, some of us didn't) of their life and finding joy in another person's prescence, the human soul begins to focus inward on itself. Scorpio is a time of revelations within yourself, about yourself and even about others. You might find yourself a bit withdrawn, thinking about things you never truly considered before, and down right even getting philosophical sometimes. This is not only a time where we sit and think (altho the man who sculpted the Thinker sculture was a Scorpio!), but Scorpio also can have a dark side. We may find ourselves tempted to the dark side and find ourselves fighting a moral struggle. A large part of a Scorpio's life are morals and within this stage we find ourselves evalutaing our own morals and ideas, what we will do and what we wont. Perhaps pushing ourselves to the limit to prove that we can or shy away from what we once thought before was "okay". Personally, I love Scorpio. It really makes me start to understand exactly why I "tick" the way I do. We move onward from Libra into a self-examinatory phase of the year where we truly consider the question: "What do I desire?"

Music from the closing titles of The Simpson's episode 3F23. In this episode, Homer leaves the power plant to go work for charismatic uber-boss Hank Scorpio and the Globex corporation.

Globex is Scorpio's cover for Project Arturis and his plans for world domination.

A truly memorable episode, especially the part where Homer helps to catch James Bond so Scorpio's goons can murder him.

Scorpio!
He'll sting you with his dreams of power and wealth!
Beware of Scorpio!
His twisted twin obsessions are his plot to rule the world
And his employees' health!
He'll welcome you into his lair
Like the nobleman welcomes his guest!
With free dental care and a stock plan that helps you invest!
But beware of his generous pensions
Plus three weeks paid vacation each year!
And on Fridays the lunchroom serves hot dogs and burgers and beers!
He loves German beer!
