This.
This RIGHT HERE.
THIS is E2 as it stands RIGHT NOW, better than I could ever hope to describe it.
If you're not sure what E2 is any more, or what it means to you, READ THIS.

And then CHING IT because it doesn't have anywhere NEAR enough already.

People change and so does E2. I'm still here, and so are you, and I know I've been noding.
As long as we node, E2 will not die.

NARG ERGH RAGH SEND ME PUNS
♥ you Mister Biggs ;D

This cookie recipe is so pants-on-head easy I can't justify leaving it in a node by itself. It's almost impossible to screw up cookies like this. You need:
  • 1 cake mix, any flavor
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 stick (1/2 cup) butter, softened
  • 1 lb $FLAVOR chips or nuts or whatever
  1. Preheat the oven to 350° F.
  2. Combine cake mix, eggs, and butter in a bowl. You WILL have to mix by hand.
  3. Add your nuts/chips/raisins/whatever to the batter.
  4. Drop by large teaspoons onto cookie sheet.
  5. Bake for just about 10 minutes.
That's it. I can (and have) made these while highly intoxicated and then eaten myself sick on them afterwards because they turn out so damn good. Feel free to experiment with your choice of cake mix and toppings. Don't tell anyone how you made them because anyone with a decent grasp of cooking will laugh at you and it's more fun to pretend you have a family receipe for ridiculously good cookies instead.
    Preferred combinations:
  • Devil's food cake + mint chips
  • Lemon cake + vanilla or white chocolate chips
  • Spice cake + toffee chips
  • Double fudge cake + butterscotch chips
  • Cherry chip cake + milk chocolate chips

Ever played Mafia before? Always wanted to but couldn't find the right people? We have a group here on e2 for that very thing! Simply message me to join the e2Mafia group! We tend to play via /msg most often, and game phases take a day or two to resolve (up to three if people are busy), so we're a bit slower than most games. IT'S LOTS OF FUN I PROMISE

There is good country music and There is good rap music are the two nodes I would hold singlehandedly responsible for expanding my musical tastes and willingness to listen to new things. If you are a person equipped with ears, you owe it to yourself to listen to at least a few things from each node and see if maybe you find a new love somewhere.

<Kizor> I've been playing X-Com: UFO Defense, a strategy game that requires the player to name a lot of soldiers to keep track of them.
GhettoAardvark wonders if he's on the heavy weapons team
<Kizor> You were.
<Kizor> Sorry about that.
<GhettoAardvark> "Were?" Please tell me I tried to rush one of those bigass tripedal ones with a rocket launcher or something
<Kizor> Operation: Tase The Guy Who Breaks Us With His Mind was strategically vital, and the information we got from the captive was a turning point of the war.
<Rapscallion> Did anyone make it?
<Kizor> Yeah, most of the people who weren't GhettoAardvark.
<Rapscallion> Poor guy.
