canopy camping at it's best.
tree sits are semipermanent
dwellings built by front line
activists generally high in the canopy of threatened
old growth rain forest using
tree climbing techniques.
why?
forests are rapidly dissapearing everywhere,in the U.S there is less than 3 percent of the native natural forest left.
these dedicated forest folk do this on a shoestring budget while facing criminal charges, harrasment and even death.
the enlightened ones who do this are not of any particular social or economic class, what's important to them is that everyone respect all life, wherever it may be rather than capitalizing at every turn.
