A person who regularly ingests or smokes weed ( reefer, dope, hash, buds, mary jane, marijuana, grass, etc ). Stoners sometimes exhibit memory loss, lack of motivation, and poor eating habits. Stoners are generally strongly emotional concerning only weed.

Also refers to a style of Heavy Metal involving blues-based riffs and singing about cars, women and drinking among other things (Strangely enough, not often hooch. I think it's the influence is obvious enough already). More famous stoner bands are Monster Magnet, Cathedral, Fu Manchu, Queens of the Stone Age and Kyuss
