Prescient

A cool word that you can use when someone blames you for an accident you could not have prevented.
"Hey, I'm not prescient, dude!"

This naturally leads to the question:
If you could see the future, would you want to look?.
The television show Early Edition explores this issue, but in a benign, roundabout way.

For a deeper, more somber exploration of this concept, read and/or watch The Dead Zone
