Gene-paring attribute in genetics when both alleles of a pair are the same. For you geeks, a homozygous pair occur when the boolean XOR between the pair is false. Homozygous pairs are either homozygous dominant (ex: TT) or homozygous recessive (ex: tt).

Opposite of heterozygous.
