A triplet bastardization of the
double-stroke roll.
A french roll in its most common incarnation sounds like a sixlet. Six notes are played per eighth note in a
similar fashion to a sixlet, but these six notes are divided into three
notes per each hand.

rudiment is a favorite of quad players (tenors) because it allows them to move around the
drums and play something interesting at the same time.
