Frequently, in the chatterbox, I see things like:

.msg mrichich You're a big dork!

or:

\msg mrichich Eat my shorts!

I often see these from people who clearly know better. I can only assume they're fake /msging, to say something to someone that they still want everyone else to see. It's wacky and fun!
