While moping my way out of one of the local hockey rinks after a particularly vicious defeat, I noticed that the bathroom was lit entirely by fluorescent blue lights. As a result, everything in the room was shaded completely blue. Really blue.

Curious, I asked a rink attendant why this was so. Apparently the blue light is there to discourage the alarming number of drug addicts that come in to a hockey rink for children to shoot heroin in the bathroom. The blue light apparently makes it very difficult to see veins of that colour.
