A bird house is a minature wooden house which humans make for birds to live in. The bird reside in these shelters because they are warm and provide shelter from rain and protects the birds eggs from enemies.
It is not a good idea to go near a birdhouse once a bird is living in it because the mother bird will abandon the eggs if your scent is on the house.
You can eeither make your own birdhouses or buy them at the store.
Many people collect birdhouses because they are pretty.
