From the French: au in the + naturel natural (state)

A lovely concept, and sounds so much better than the alternative when you suggest it to your new lover whilst walking through an empty park at 2 A.M. in midsummer:

"Baby, let's walk through the park nekkid."
"Baby, let's walk through the park au naturel."
