The best part is, in X, it changes the Netscape logo to Mozilla popping up perodically breathing fire.

Also works in Microsoft Internet Explorer, but with an effect nowhere near as interesting as the Mozilla-based browsers'. Upon typing about:mozilla into the address bar of an IE window (and giving the Enter key a good old-fashioned whack), we are presented with, in glorious Technicolor:

A blue screen.

Not the infamous BSOD, but simply an HTML document consisting of a blue background with no text.

Rumour has it that this rather boring feature is Microsoft employees getting their own back on the coders behind Mozilla. Remember, the colour of the Internet Explorer logo is blue. The general consensus is that while Nescape needs a cleverly-worded 'extract' to mock IE, Microsoft's browser speaks for itself.

I'd have preferred another extract.
