redneck.
this mellifluous
dialect was formerly heard spoken only in
trailer parks and
deep in the woods, or '
the sticks.' indeed, it was supposed to be on the verge of becoming a
dead language. it has become clear, however, that
those spunky rednecks are none too anxious to give up their
mother tongue and so the dialect is still in common use, albeit in
remote locales.
thus, it may prove useful to aquire a
basic knowledge of
redneck speak, should one happen to interact with
native redneck speakers. to facillitate this, we offer a brief list of rather ubiquitous
terminology which you can enjoy from the comfort of your own home.
