This was a musical group formed in 1962 by the Fluxus artist/musician La Monte Young in New York City. They played Avant garde, experimental music. People who worked under the auspices of this group include: John Cale, Terry Riley, Jon Hassell, Tony Conrad, Jon Gibson, Lee Konitz, David Rosenboom, Marian Zazeela and Angus MacLise
