Once upon a recent time,
there liv'd a curious man,
who, to learn, though deem'd a crime,
of chemicals began.
Alas! ill will not e'er had he,
and only wish'd to know,
but drugs and bombs the noth'crats see,
and none would then bestow
him chemicals of any kind,
reagents pure and neat,
but this was not a chemist
who would e'er allow defeat.
He got them; oh! he got them, aye
despite their efforts vain,
from household stuffs and oddments by
the cunning of his brain.
But anger grew, and so he made
a bomb against their ban,
and thus he blew the bastards up
to prove to them he can.
