Transformers Tech Specs
Submarauder's Pretender shell was... well, sort of a fish. With arms and legs. The Decepticon monster Pretenders all tended to look like 1950's B-movie creatures with a slightly better sense of fashion, and Submarauder most of all. His "attack submarine" vehicle mode was nearly identical to Bomb-burst's hover jet except for the lack of wings, a common problem among the 1988 Pretenders.
In the Japanese "Transformers: Masterforce" cartoon, Submarauder was renamed Gilmer.
