| Please note: These are the moves for Mortal Kombat 2. Only some of the special moves, and none of the finishing moves, are applicable to other MK games.
Special Moves
Ice Ball: Down, Down/Forward, Forward, Low Punch
Slide: Back + Low Punch + Low Kick +Block (+ = simultaneously) (Works well just after you've knocked your opponent on the ground)
Ground Freeze: Down, Down/Back, Back, Low Kick (Works very well if you first leap over the opponent and kick them on your way down)
Finishing Moves
Shatter: First, from a couple steps away, press Forward, Forward, Down, High Kick, to freeze the victim. Then get up close and press Forward, Down, Forward, Forward, High Punch.
Ice Grenade: From across the screen, hold Low Punch, press Back, Back, Down, Forward, release Low Punch.
Babality**: Down, Back, Back, High Kick
Friendship** (toy salesman): Back, Back, Down, High Kick
Dead Pool: Hold Low Punch and Low Kick, then approach the victim and press Down and High Punch (You may first freeze the opponent as in the first half of the Shatter fatality, if you like
Kombat Tomb/Pit II : Down, Forward, Forward, Block
* While executing this move, the fact that you're crouching prevents you from being hit by certain projectiles
** Of course, you cannot do a babality or friendship if you've done any punching in the winning round |
