An excellent book by David Lehman about the discovery that a leading deconstructionist literary critic, Paul de Man, had been a Nazi collaborator in his native Belgium before he came to the U.S.

The reader is also treated to a good overview of 20th century literary criticism, and of the Deconstruction movement.
