A Fourth Century
religious convention that altered the
Bible to create the existence of
the trinity. This
ideology was created for the purpose of creating a higher level of
taxation on the people. This alteration of the
Bible was brought to light by
Erasmus in his writing
Doctrine of the Trinity.
This humanistic publication is considered one of the forces behind Martin Luther's reformation. Both Erasmus and Valla, Donation of Constantine, raised questions about the sanctity of the Roman Empire.
