MB is short for Megabyte.
A megabyte is 1024 KB (Kilobytes), or 1,048,576 bytes.

Editorial note. No longer correct: a megabyte (1 MB) is 1000000 bytes, a mebibyte (1 MiB) is 1048576 bytes. See prefixes for binary multiples.
