A dialect that forms in insular groups of geeks.

An LGD differs from a Standard Geek Dialect in that it's much more specialized, different, or otherwise unique. Also, LGDs must be localized, or unique to a certain group, subculture, or discussion forum.

LGDs usually revolve around small, insular communities such as LAN parties, websites, forums, newsgroups, quake clans, bulletin board services, open source projects, and user groups. This is a marked contrast to SGDs which typically are spawned by vastly larger communities.
