I recall one field exercise at Fort Carson CO. It was a three week exercise and somehow the supplies got messed up. To make a long story short, we received chicken cacciatore two meals a day for three weeks. The only break we had was the MRE that we got for lunch. By the end of three weeks I was only eating one meal a day and I had started to hallucinate.
