Juvenile DermatoMyoSitis. Also, JM, JDM. A very rare auto-immune disease that usually manifests itself with a distinctive skin rash and muscle inflammation and weakness. It usually strikes kids aged 5-10, but can happen at 12 months up to early adulthood.
