Gothenburg (called Göteborg in Swedish) was founded by Gustav II Adolf, largely built by Dutch and Flemmish architects. Gothenburg sports a lovely network of canals throughout the inner city. Traditionally a working class town, it now sport global industries such as Volvo and SKF. The city is known for the easy-going nature of its inhabitants.
