The late 70s and early 80s are collectively considered a hyperion age for arcade games. Kids flocked in droves to Arcades to religious shove quarters into slots of video games that are collectively known as classics: Pac-Man,
Joust, Defender, Asteroids and so many others. In the following years, computer technology dropped in cost giving arcade's a new competitor in console video games which could for a reasonable cost, be installed at home and connected to your television.
