A dried, powdered form of garlic. It can be coarse or finely ground, and may be plain, or may contain other herbs and spices such as parsley or salt. Sometimes mild, often quite pungent. Garlic powder is excellent for adding flavor to your favorite recipe, or for bringing out the flavor of beef. It can be purchased at almost any grocery store.
