Island on the edge of the Caribbean Sea where it meets the North Atlantic Ocean, formerly a colony of the United Kingdom but now independent.

A very fine place to go on holiday - somewhat greener and more lush than the rather scrubby Antigua, and not as French as the pleasant-but-extremely-much-like-France Guadaloupe.
Sidenote: If you go with a SO, you owe it to yourself to stay a night or two at the uniquely gorgeous (but not expensive) 'Papillote' hotel. It is a once in a lifetime experience.
