The Director of Central Intelligence (DCI) is the head of the Intelligence Community seated at the head of the Central Intelligence Community.

The DCI directs the Central Intelligence Agency and all foreign intelligence agency elements.

The DCI is assisted by the Deputy Director of Central Intelligence.

Both positions are Presidential Appointments.
