Hip Hop Slang
Home of the original gun clappers. Brooklyn, also known as Brooklawn Vietnam and Crooklyn. Given the penchant in hip hop culture for glorifing violence it is not that surprising that it is hard to find a slang term that is not negative. WIth that in mind a friend and myself have dubbed Brooklyn:
Brooker T. Washinglawn.
Please be prepared to use this name in all official correspondence regarding our fair borough.
