Underworld have returned to the studio to hammer out a new album that is almost entirely unlike their previous LP, Beaucoup Fish. Beaucoup Fish disappointed many longtime Underworld listeners with a more song-based approach. AHDO is more groove and loop-oriented, sounding almost like Beaucoup Fish sent through the dubnobasswithmyheadman blender.

AHDO sees Underworld move away from the long, slow songs that infested (yes, infested) Beaucoup Fish. The only slow numbers are quite short, and so serve better as interludes instead of spots to head to the bathroom during a listen. They also serve as a show-off for singer/guitarist Karl Hyde's playing, something which has been sorely missing for a while.

The cover of the album is monochrome, with a photograph of what appears to be a glass sculpture. Or maybe some balloons (that's what KillerPenguin thinks, anyway)

Singles from the album so far are Two Months Off, with b-sides Head Set and Tiny Clicks, a King Unique remix, and a John Ciafone remix; and Dinosaur Adventure 3D. Twist was scheduled for release as well, but was scrapped due to poor sales of the album and the singles. A horrific Born Slippy 2003 was its replacement.

Now, go listen.
