An unpublished (until 1999) play by Aldous
Huxley. Written just before
Brave New World, Now More Than Ever is a play about
nationalism (read political capitalilsm) and
communism in England in the 1920's.
The title comes from a poem by
Yeats:
"Now more than ever seems it fit to die, to
cease upon the midnight with no pain."
This Play is not incredibly well written and Huxley tried unsuccessfuly several times to have it published.
Jim Sexton discovered it in
Texas.
