I'm currently a student studying maths and computer science at Birmingham university (England, not Alabama!). I'm hoping to be a programmer, although I pride myself on not being your typical computer scientist/mathematician (there are a lot of "geeks" in my lectures). I have nothing against geeks, they're nice people but I think most of them are missing a lot in life, going out, getting drunk and having a good time are just as important as learning to program!
I have a real belief I'm going to do well in life, I'm determined to be successful and command respect from others (while earning a tidy packet). I don't mean to sound patronising, but I'm a very strong believer in myself. Remember if you don't believe in yourself, no-one else will! I've been told I have a quiet confidence, I'm definately not loud but I still exude a subtle presence which people take notice of. I'm proud to be kind and considerate to everyone, I'm very non-judgemental and like to listen.
I love the idea of Everything, I can spend hours wandering through learning what I can and ignoring the rest :-) Hopefully I'll be able to contribute to this great community.
Dan.
