The Antigua Versión Reina y Valera is a version of the Bible in Spanish.

The original version was translated by Casiodoro de Reina and published in 1569. Cipriano de Valera revised Reina's work and published his revision in 1602.

For perspective, this translation is slightly older than the King James Version.

My version (actually my grandmother's) has this title for it:

ANTIGUA VERSION
DE CASIODORO DE REINA (1569)
REVISADA POR CIPRIANO DE VALERA (1602)
Y COTEJADA POSTERIORMENTE CON DIVERSAS
TRADUCCIONES Y CON LOS TEXTOS HEBREO Y GRIEGO
EN 1862 Y 1909. ORTOGRAFIA Y PUNTUACION ACTUALIZADAS Y NOMBRES CASTELLANIZADOS EN 1979.

(Casiodoro de Reina's Old Version (1569), revised by Cipriano de Valera (1602) and collated afterwards with diverse translations and with the Hebrew and Greek texts in 1862 and 1909. Spelling and punctuation updated and names Hispanicized in 1979.)

(There is also a Nueva Reina-Valera.)
