An album by
Jools Holland and his
Rhythm and Blues Orchestra.
Recorded in 1996 on Coliseum Records.
This was the first Jools' album I bought and I still love it.
There is a great mixture of styles but all the tracks have great instrumentals and great vocals.
My favourite track is Scorpio Rising but Well Alright is also great.
I would recommend this album to anyone who likes boogie woogie or swing music.
If you like Cherry Poppin' Daddies, Squirrel Nut Zippers or Big Bad Voodoo Daddy then but this and see what its all like when its done properly.
Basically if you like a bit of jazz or have a open musical mind then you will love this.
