This
comic, actually, seems mostly to be made up of "normal" college people. (They get
drunk and
stoned, and
fuck on the weekends.) The
characters, for the most part, are
nice people, and make you care about their futures.
This comic, refreshing in its
semi-normalcy, is not only well drawn, but
very well written. At times when the author wishes to go through a long section of
dialogue that would take weeks of
normal strips, he drops the comic format and uses
text with the occastional image. Very effective, and well done.
I suppose it should be noted that the comic does have geeky wackyness in it, but those events are few and far between. While the geeky wackyness does not detract from the comic, it is not the comics main draw, IMHO.
