A to do list is exactly what it sounds like. It is a
list of things to do.
There is something oddly
calming about a to do list. Whenever I feel
overwhelmed with life and its
responsibilities I
create a to do list and almost immediately begin to feel better. And nothing helps you overcome that overwhelming feeling like the
satisfaction of crossing something off a huge list.
When I am feeling extremely overwhelmed I find it helps to make my lists extremely
detailed. For instance, instead of making mailing a bill out one entry on my list I divide it into:
1) find envelope
2) address and fill envelope
3) put envelope in mailbox
I know it sounds
silly but sometimes every little cross off helps!
