St Kilda Road is a picturesque, tree-lined boulevard that runs from
Flinders Street Station in
Melbourne to
St Kilda. It is home to the Melbourne offices of many large multi-national companies such as
Sun Microsystems,
Oracle and
Estee Lauder, as well as the
Victoria Police and
lotto giant
Tattersals. It is
the place to have your office if you're a startup IT business or hip advertising agency.
You can travel down St Kilda Road by tram and in so doing you'll pass by the National Gallery of Victoria, the Victorian Arts Center, the Shrine of Rememberance, the Royal Botanic Gardens and King's Domain.
If you were visiting Melbourne for the Grand Prix in Albert Park in mid March, chances are you'd be catching such a tram. In late summer, it really is quite beautiful.
