The Pepper Foundation is a UK charity, dedicated to the supporting of specially trained
paediatric nurses, who look after children with
terminal or life-limiting
illnesses in the family home.
The Pepper Foundation raises it's funds from
donations and events throughout the year, but a large chunk of this money is raised through
Sgt Pepper's Concert Party, an annual concert which first gave the
charity it's name.
The nurses are actually employed by the Iain Rennie Hospice at Home, which generally provides this sort of care for all ages (whereas the Pepper Nurses are specifcally for
children)
