A shade of green similar to
emerald green, but with a
tinge of yellow generally comparable to yellow green or
chartreuse.

This extremely poisonous, bright green powder was formerly used as a pigment and a wood preservative, and is still sometimes used as an
insecticide and
fungicide. Paris Green also goes by the remarkably less agreeable name of
Schweinfurt Green.
